hey! is there any way to turn the VW Golf (Car18) into a playable car rather than only seeing it in traffic? there is no Golf IV / MK4 (standard) mod.

Converting traffic cars to player cars is possible, but not recommended.

The traffic cars do not contain a modelled interior, and the exterior models are very poor quality. ithout an existing interior model, there is no point converting it to a player car.

You'll also need to redo all the data files (physics, caproperty, etc).

This is a lengthy process. While it could be taught, you are better off spending your time learning how to make a whole new mod with a high quality model instead.

I think there was a MK4 Golf mod at onw time but I can't remember.

yeah, i realized when i looked into the CCD's program files. your mods are amazing btw !!!
i fear i won't be able to create my own mod because i don't have any of the required software or a high-end pc (moreover, i have a laptop :/ ). but i guess i could give it a try. once i've got the 3D model, am i close to making the mod or am i missing a lot of steps?
