Thank you for your reply !

1. The traffic is just fluent at everywhere else. So this should be some sort of malfunction happening only on here.

2. The above is the result after I adjusted it...

>The method you suggested didn't work with the current traffic AI.
I see. I respect your efforts.
But I'd like to tell you again that stopping until the player hit (iii-2) is really unrealistic, and disabling it would be very appreciate.
Actually I had to quit some sessions because I got in the above situation on one way two-lane roads, and I couldn't move my car in any directions. Which means it sometimes spoils the experience.
You concerned that "It was just too easy to avoid", but the point of the emergency events is to train you to react to sudden movements, and it is not necessary to make it hit all the time.
What you are to simulate is not crazy guys who tries to deliberately hit you.

*Suggestion*

Hey,

I realy like CCD and think it has the by far best traffic simulation.

This would be a great base for a emercency drive simulator.

So my suggestion is to add police/ambulance cars together with the ability to turn on horn and lights for signalisation. Of course this is noticed by (most of the) AI drivers. Together with a simple waypoint to waypoint mission system this would be great for entertainment and could eventually used in future to train paramedics. Of course that would be a huge update (if AI behavior is included). Thats why I could understand if you make for example a DLC out of it for 5-20$. (Price should be demanding on how much of an effort you put into this and how much it is almost a own game.)

There is no real simulator out there which is able to simulate some what of a real emercency drive. If anyone on the market is able to make something like this than you!

I really really wish I can switch to 3rd person / top view when I'm in VR. It will be super useful for me to practice my parking skills if I can change to different camera angle to check how I parked.

Currently I need to hold the numpad keys for a minute or so to slowly adjust my viewing position to outside the car. Also I think not the whole car is rendered in VR mode for now.

Another potential improvement is probably 5.1 or even 7.1 surround sound. This might require significant effort but it definitely will enhance the immersion by a large margin.

I'm totally more than happy to pay for a DLC to get these features.

Hi. I bought the game on Steam a few days ago and I am in love with it. It is by far the best driving simulator I have ever come across.

I've made a couple different profiles on the game to try out the different country settings, and I've discovered something a little odd. The Canadian regulations on the game are very similar to the American ones. Obviously they are similar in real life too, but some of the signs and markings are exactly the same as the American ones on the game, when they are different in real life.

My suggestion is to add more of the Canadian versions of signs. It would make it a bit more realistic, and they are relatively easy to find on Wikipedia and transportation websites.

This is a good page on Wikimedia Commons for finding Canadian signs:

Thanks,

I seriously think this game need 2 types of support at the very least because older mods before 1.5.7 simply not usable because there were lots of mods before 1.5.7 and thats too many to update and a lot of mod makers have left now so they won't do it, I know some are updated by someone else I feel they are not updated properly, If we could have the same as before and what we have now at least we can use mods before 1.5.7 as well because we can't and after 1.5.7 really has destroyed this game, (Probably get ignored again but at least I'm trying to make them realize they made this simulator worser then ever) At least try to do something to make it better because there is a only one of me and its not worth while nor I have the time update literally over 200 mods, The game developers are really unfair for mod makers like me and everyone else making it harder, Same with the mirrors bring back the older mirror support as well the newer, Just 2 types of support for old and new because this destroying the best part of game which is the mods, It would be bonus if the physics could be better anyway, Still very upset nothing is happening, One of these days if there is nothing here I will leave and resign from mod making also which I will do anyway soon.

BZ And JZ 26 Motors, what you're suggesting is just impossible due to many changes were made since then - in physics, controls, etc. Support of 2 different branches equals support of 2 different games. It doubles the expenses and time of our team - we cannot afford that. You have to accept the changes happened, because obviously there's no way back already. We're sorry that these changes broke many mods, but as I already said long time ago - we had to do these changes to avoid more potential problems in future.

If you feel tired from modding and don't want to continue - of course, it's your right to resign, but I don't think talking in such ultimate form like "revert everything back or I leave soon" is good and fair. No offense - we do respect mod makers and their work, but you should understand that ultimatums will not help.

Kivlov, I'm sorry if it looked liked I wrote in a harsh manner but I feel things sensitively and thats what happens when I'm upset and I appreciate the apology, I know you probably said before but I do forget or don't fully understand what is said so if you don't mind me asking what potential problems in the future did you mean name any for example if its possible to tell me, Then I might understand even more then before, I'll accept the changes now since there is no choice only it will mean I can't enjoy it as much, If needed we can talk more about this privately.

In Steam, developers can upload older versions of the game files. I think it's a good idea to use that feature.
As you may know, in the default settings the game is always updated to the latest version even if there are older versions. Hence most of the users can enjoy the latest version, and at the same time the modders can play downgraded versions at their own risk.

The variant how the physics and controls were made earlier was not optimal, there were some simplifications and neglects which seemed acceptable earlier, but are not acceptable now. Therefore, older physics model prevented us from improving it. We understand that physics in our simulator is not ideal, but if we would just left everything as it was - we just completely closed the door to ourselves for improving it.

Why? I just cannot understand this strange wish of clinging to the past at all. As I said - there's no way back. So, what exactly will this give you? To delay the inevitable? I even can understand users which want to use some mods which are not updated yet, but - what does it give for mod makers? It's a double wierd suggestion...
