I understand this is not available on the UI, but maybe I can edit the SQL lite database and add a starting point as a new place?

If you search up 'startpoints' in your game files, you will find a folder with that name. Within that folder is different maps, and within those maps is different districts. Each one has a startpoints.xml file, where you can change the co-ordinates for each startpoint.
I have not touched this before, it might cause an error, or it may work. As far as I am aware, there is no way for us to view the co-ordinates in order to change them.

When on a mission is there a way to view the list of violations up to now?

I'm busy driving to read the violations as they appear and only notice that I lost points but the violation messages are already gone.

This is not quite a CCD question, but I believe it to be loosely related. What happended to the game "Перевозчик" aka "Перевозчик реальный автосимулятор" aka "Transporter game" aka "Carrier" (not sure if this last name is are real or just poor translation), which seems to have utilized the same assets and engine as 3DI and thus 3DI 2 (original Russian version of CCD for those who don't know)? I can't find much about it so I assume it's cancelled. I only found the YT upload of the trailer and the official comeback thread on the official Russian forum. The last news I found are from 2014 saying that the game is still coming. Is it truly cancelled or is it still supposedly coming?

The Transporter game trailer footage has striking resemblence to the 2009 3DI 2.0 trailer/demo-video, both in terms of visuals and some parts of the map. Was it perhaps cancelled because 3DI 2 was a more important project and made Transporter game unnecessary? According to the official archived site, Transporter game's development was frozen in 2010 because of 3DI 2, until the comeback thread that I linked came saying it was being worked on again, and then I haven't found any news beyond that thread which is why I'm asking here.

MegaHelikopter, for now we do not have any plans to return to this project. It's frozen from the time you've heard about it last time.

hey y’all. i’ve bought the game some time ago, but i have 2 questions out of curiosity (love everything about CCD ofc): 1. why was a VW Golf featured on the loading screen of earlier versions of CCD? was there ever a way to unlock it? (see attachment) / 2. why is the game called ‘Home Edition’? is there a ‘Deluxe’ or ‘Ultimate’ version somewhere out there?

The Golf is a traffic car. It has no modelled interior and cannot be driven.

There is an Enterprise edition, which as I understand is for commercial use.

And is there a mod that adds real badging to developer cars and AI cars? Just like some ETS2 AI car real badge mods. I tried to add real badges to the Car28 (Corolla) and it didn't work. And the in-game Corolla horn doesn't sound like a real Corolla. (in game it is a honk, IRL it is a meep, your RAV4 has also a meep horn)

And what car does your Nissan Qashqai has the custom sound from? And can you send a updated custom sound with blinkers/horn/handbrake from the Qashqai rather than from the az_2110?
