Hello,

I've just bought a new headset.

I had the HTC Vive and could use it with ccd.

But with the new headset, I can't manage to use it properly.
Vision inside the headset is no good. Image is ok but focus is impossible to get. You have got to get your eyes crossed to see. It's like some part of the image is either in the left and in the right eye.

I don't know if I manage to be understood as English is not my native language mbut playing with the headset is impossible.

Anybody knows what I am talking about?

Thanks.

Hi, have you experienced this issue in other games since upgrading to the new headset?
Perhaps you will need to update your headset drivers and also re-calibrate it.

Hello,

Thank you but my new headset works fine with every game and other activities linked to the VR.

Never happened with the previous Vive headset.

Everything is up to date.
The only thing not updated seems to be city car driving since a couple of years...

The vision fields mix together for some part and make the experience impossible.

Anyone got a clue to help me ?
My computer is plugged to the wall, power turned on, etc. The problem only comes from ccd for sure

Hello,

Please note that the game officially supports only Oculus Rift and HTC Vive VR headsets. Vive Pro and Rift S should work.

Regarding the Index, Quest, Cosmos or any WMR-compatible devices - for now we do not have these headsets by our hands, and do not have plans to supported them in near future. Sorry.

Also please take into account these advices if you use VR with City Car Driving:

- Update your VR headset software & drivers.
- Update your video card driver to the latest version.
- Make sure you connect your VR headset before(!) starting the game.
- Do not launch/use SteamVR. If SteamVR is already running – close it before launching the game. Then just run the game in a usual way and select the VR output in the in-game settings menu.
- VR activates only after the driving session start (it does not work in the main menu).
- If you feel you still need to make lower motion sickness effects you can try disabling some of the camera inertion effects as described here - steamcommunity.com/app/493490/discussions/0/3277925755433585773/

Lol. May be I think twice before posting a question here next time as seems to be a waste of time.

Some one has a real answer? I think general answers to this topic like update etc doesn't apply.

I would like a real answer that applies to my case if someone experienced the same thing.
Other general) hotline answer is no use

I've had a look around for other issues on other games.

Does your problem resemble the one shown here? imgur.com/a/dnjSrxe

I found a few possible solutions to fixing the problem, but I cannot be certain they will work:
- Checking your cable connection.
- Using a rift headset emulator which tricks the game into thinking you are using the Oculus Rift instead of Vive Pro.

Or try to follow this tutorial: stealthoptional.com/hardware/htc-vive-double-vision-how-to-fix/

Hello,

Thank you for your concern and your search. I will test what you tell me about and keep update here.
I'm pretty sure my headset works fine.

I ve made a screenshot showing what i m experiencing. You got 2 pictures and 1 picture from the house when you start steam.
It seems there s kind of a problem with the gap/angle. I cant tell. In the house and other games, vr works fine.
And as steam must not run in order to use VR in CCD, i dont have any clue how to manage those angle/gap.
In CCD it s more like a crossed eye experience...

When you look at the picture in the house, the gap is quite different as it is in CCD. My IPD adjustement is ok, i tried to change it to max or mini, and had no effect.

Ok, I've used your image and tried to illustrate the alignment with the exact same red line:

I can see the problem. But unfortunately, I don't have any experience in solving this.
There are very few active users on this forum, and none of them have a Vive Pro 2. I would suggest posting a question on the Steam Discussion page and seeing whether other Vive Pro 2 users have experienced and solved this problem.
