Hi. pls can some1 here help me to fix a error. I installed a mod Toyota land Cruiser Prado 150 for city car driving. I installed the mod on my game and yesterday those files were deleted automatically. today morning again I strted up my pc and installed and checked if whether my mod was still gone again but this time nothing happened. so I strted free mode and as it was about to finish loading I got an error


pls help me asap. thnks. It one of my favourite games.

I tried once from steam workshop and one time with online website link. both didn't work

Also before I used cracked version of this game and added mods and used it. it worked perfectly fine. then i thought to myself this game is good and bought it through steam with help of my friend. and now i have orginal steam version.

Are you trying to use the Mercedes E-Class, or the Toyota Land Cruiser?

i was using prado 150 for this. also tried the land cruiser 200



also got a new error. i have never got this error b4 . first time got these 2 errors. cracked versions were working fine. I guess i have to go back to crack now. ????

The first error is caused by the mod being uploaded imporperly to the Steam Workshop. It is referencing files to a mod you haven't installed. You should try unsubscribing from the mod, and downloading a full version of it from the internet.

The second error Is usually caused by running the game on a laptop or PC with integrated graphics.

Try this to fix it:
1. If your PC has both – discrete and integrated video cards, then maybe the game uses the integrated one for some reason. Try forcing the game to the dedicated one – right click on the game shortcut and select Run with GPU <your dedicated video card>. Or if you don’t have this option in the context menu, you can follow these advices – www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/pc-components/how-set-de..

2. Install DirectX and Visual C++ components from this folder manually, go to this folder -
"...Steam\steamapps\common\City Car Driving\_CommonRedist\" and install all the components from there.

In some cases this folder can be located in a different place - "... Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared".

3. Update your video card driver to the latest version from your video card manufacturer's website.

4. Update your sound card driver to the latest version from your sound card manufacturer's website.

5. If you're using a racing wheel (or any other controller), update its driver to the latest version from your controller manufacturer's website.

6. Turn off any antivirus or firewall software.

7. Check the game cache integrity in Steam client.

8. Turn off the Steam cloud profile synchronization for City Car Driving – open your Steam client, click on City Car Driving with right mouse button and choose “Properties” from the context menu. Then open the tab “Updates” and there turn off the option “Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for City Car Driving”.

9. Delete the folder "Forward Development" from your "My Documents" folder.

here people are telling integrated graphics and lap is prblm. may i ask a question? why is the cracked version having smooth driving and why are all mods working on it. for testing those mods i tried crack also yesterday installed and played i enjoyed a lot. and bro u gave me this steps i tried and all. i installed frm steam and unsubscribed 3 times. after i got tired of installing frm steam. i downloaded frm online website.


ALSO INSTEAD OF CRACK IS THER SOMEWAY TO DOWNGRADE CITY CAR DRIVING 1.5.9.2 to 1.5.2 in steam or something. i installed crack of 1.5.2 and mods work perfectly.

Regarding the laptops and integrated grahphics - please note that laptops and intgrated video cards are not supported by the game, and were never(!) supported (there was a warning about that on the product page in the system requirements section).

Some time ago due to optimization issues we had to remove an outdated DirectX v9 support. This could make issues while running of the integrated graphics to happen even more often.

However, even earlier versions of the game had issues with running on the integrated graphics very often! Therefore, using an earlier version is not 100% solution.

BTW, the game may run in the Career mode on the integrated graphics, but would not in the free driving mode, because it's requires more resources. Some third-party mods also can aggravate the issues, because they usually 3D models with excess polygons number and requires more resources.

Unfortunately, there's no way to downgrade the game to earlier version. DirectX v9 is very outdated and it's already passed stage of the development. Sorry, but we're not going to revert it back.

Our game always(!) required not to use the integrated graphics. So, your hardware must meet our system requirements in order to run the game.
