CCD Speed Limiter Fix - 1.5.9

Can't accelerate more than 60-90km/h? This tool will help you!


1. Select CCD folder (e.g. C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\City Car Driving)
2. Select car
3. Click fix
PS Before fix game should be closed!

Tested on win7 x64 (ok), win10 x64 1909 (there are no images on the buttons, but everything should be ok)

I don't have Steam so it says that i have chosen a wrong file. What do I do if I don't have Steam?

I don't have "STEAM" either. I am wondering the same thing!! How does one use the "CCD Speed Limiter Fix" if you don't have "STEAM??" Or a Work around or another alternitive?? Editing the Rules.ini file didn't work either.

The tool hardly works for most cars. You would be better off using the automatic transmission customiser and editing the shifting RPM of each gear.

Follow these steps to use it:
- Make sure you add your car to the player_cars.xml file. (The user_cars folder doesn't work with this tool)
- Select your CCD folder (Works with or without Steam).
- Go to the 'Setting up switches' tab.
- Reduce the RPM at the bottom (100% throttle) by around 500 rpm, maybe more. Make sure the Downshift RPM (on the right) is lower than the RPM (on the left).
- Press save, and test in game.
