Hello,

I have just purchased the game City Car Driving and I have activated it.

When I launched the game, I got the following errors:

- The program can't start because X3DAudio1_7.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
- Cannot find import; DLL may be missing, corrupt, or wrong version File "X3DAudio1_7.dll", error 126

I have tried the following to fix the problem:

- Reinstall as administrator
- Run as administrator
- Run in every possible compatibility mode
- Launch the executable itself

My system specifications are:

- Microsoft Windows 7 Professional x64
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M480 @ 2.67 GHz 2.67 GHz
- 4 GB DDR3 RAM
- DirectX installed: DX11
- Ati Radeon HD4570 onboard

Is it because I am running a 64 bit operating system, that I can't run this game (I noticed the executable of the game itself is in the win32 directory of the game)?
I would really like to play this game.

Ok I have fixed the problem. I installed this:
www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3

It is also included in the game, but I thought dx9 would give problems since I have dx11.
However, no problems. I can run the game fine now. X3DAudio1_7.dll is in dx9.

I go have fun now! :)

Hi I have tried to do all the fixes on this page and on the FAQ page and I still get this error saying " Cannot find import; DLL may be missing, corupt or wrong version. File: "X3DAudio1_7.dll"". I have also reinstalled the game 4 times. Please help .

Uninstall and deactivate the game using the following file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Forward Development\City Car Driving Home Edition\unins000
and make sure that you right click the file and run as administrator. Accept all promts, including the one for deactivation. Then run the install file (CityCarDriving_En) as administrator and install again. If that does not work than send me a private message and I will have something else for you to try.

Hello, everything is simple, it just seems a problem. It is necessary to replace the dll file, and everything will work. You can use Google or http://fix4dll.com/x3daudio1_7_dll.This will help. Already done so. Good luck.
