earlier this week i purchased CCD and have spent quite a bit of time getting my g27 wheel set up.
yesterday i was trying to load some mods (69 charger,buick regal and e39 m5) as well as the 3 mod installer programs.
after following the tutorial and using winrar and notepad. i replaced the player_cars file and now the City car program opens but never gets past the loading screen then i am given a popup the says "starter application has stopped working"
i don`t think i lost my internet connection,i have restarted my computer.
i may have done something wrong installing mod cars.i`m not great with computers or with changing files so it is possible.
i did do a search for this but didn`t find anything on the newest version of the game and what i did find may not be exactly what i`m looking at.
any help is appreciated.
p.s. this is a really fun simulator.

Go to your documents and find the folder named Forward Development.

Delete it.

If it still is crashing, show your player_cars.


Also, post in Mods (General). I have moved it for you.

i deleted forward development in documents and that did get the game to load,mods are still not installed and i don`t know why.

my players_cars folder is no longer XML document its a text document.......i don`t know why

interesting. Have you been editing with Notepad++?

no just notepad.
